RPM CLASS Fundraiser for Eddie Cross’ 14hr Day For Disability

A great hard funny class with instructor Tony Cleva and me up the front getting excited.  This 1hr RPM class for beginners and RPM regulars at the Forum Harbourside was one of the funniest easy going great classes with the best music tracks I have done for a long while. We went back to re visit some of the very early RPM’s. All money raised ($400) was donated toward LeapFrog Ability helping improve the lives of children and adults who need a little extra help. Thank you all for coming.
A great fun class of RPM with my close friends and some Harbourside regulars, we will do it again. Really enjoyed our free drink and yummy food put on by The Dockyard afterwards.

Radio Interview ABC 1233 Craig Hamilton

Well known and respected ABC Radio Journalist Craig Hamilton invited Eddie into the studio for the Saturday interview. Eddie was a bit nervous and was made very welcome by Craig’s producer Sophie.

Anticipating the possibility of reliving that foggy and depressing time of the brain injury he acquired on the AFL field whilst playing for Newcastle City AFL Reserve Grade he went prepared with notes.

Eddie explained how it was important for sponsors and participants to come on board as it is not a race for 14 hours this triathlon but it is for everybody to do a bit on the day. Craig added the website address several times for all to get clearly.

Craig whilst knowing Eddie and watch him struggle at times through his recovery he fired a big one. Eddie are you going to be able to do this mate ? Eddie replied he is back and has completed an 8hour training day where he rode from Newcastle to Singleton’s Open Cut Mine and returned 170kms and ran 1 hour 8 mins off the bike and felt good. 14 Hour Day for Disability Website Launched

The 14 Hour Day for Disability website was launched today.

This website proudly sponsored by Sticky Tickets and built by Redback Solutions, replaces Eddie's Training  diary which has been the online presence of this event until now.

Sponsored Car on the Road....Thanks Klosters!

This morning, the Kloster Hyundai sponsored i30 car was ready for collection from Broadley Signs.

The car has been used to get Eddie to various training venues as well as transport leapfrog staff and clients to there activities.

LeapFrog ability CEO, Richard Brown says “The car looks fantastic and will help advertise this charity event.” Eddie also says “The car is comfortable to drive and it has performed well over the last three minutes that I have had it!”

Although Eddie is a bit uncomfortable with the possibility of being confused with a frog, he is happy to  have his mug shot all over the doors!
